Toshiba Thrive Tablet, as we all know, was already put up for pre-order, but chances are that was done in the midst of excitement of an employee, hence leading to the very high possibility of mistakes in the price quote and specifications. Toshiba Thrive Tablet runs Android 3.1 and features a non-slip Easy Grip interchangeable backplate, a user-replaceable battery (which can be charged in 1.5 hours), it comes with a 10.1-inch touchscreen display with a 1280×800 pixels HD resolution (native 720p) and 16:10 aspect ratio, which also creates cinematic experience for movie viewing ang gaming, multi-touch screen enhanced with the Resolution Plus technology (makes SD content look better), a Tegra 2 SoC, a rear-facing 5 megapixel camera allowing for 720p video recording, and a 2MP front facing camera for facetime chats. And will be available in three different options; 8GB model that is priced at $429, a 16GB model that will go for $479 and a 32GB model that goes for $579.
Toshiba Thrive Tablet also has WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity, a gyroscope, an accelerometer, an ambient light sensor, an SD card slot, mini USB and full-size USB 2.0 ports, and a HDMI output. GPS is apparently also on-board. This Toshiba Thrive Tablet has a good review, ergonomic design and have a good price overall.
