at your aurora cant you just get a dremal and cut off the metal peicer on top of the psu so you can have better airflow on the bottom card
May 20th, 2011
@sakke001 My cards are overclocked to 1000MHz and my Corsair psu is 850 watts and it handles it no problem.

how big power u got? Because im planning to buy 2x GIGABYTE GTX 560 Ti 1ghz.
So I want to know how big power supply I need…
May 20th, 2011
@micger1785 well you can if you are using a 140mm fan
May 20th, 2011
@MrWhoIsThatGuy77 Ah but drilling and cutting is half the fun
May 20th, 2011
I also have the scout and found a great little fan mod that dosnt require any drilling. Message me if you want to know what to do cause it would be to long to right in the comments

@Sup3rH0nda Oh thank you sir. Yea it will be waaay cooler than that “boiling card”. Haha. Did you see the temps my GTX295 hit, crazy huh?? Nvidia has done a great job with the 500 series, and aftermarket coolers like the ones from MSI or Gigabyte do an even better job at cooling. Have fun with it

Nice build mate,
I hate my GTX295, Planning to buy the MSI GTX 560 soon, I hope it will perform way better that this boiling card

Awesome new (almost new) build. You basically had a small space heater with the gtx295…you were almost hitting 200*F! I like the new set up and want to see some benchmarks! AND I saw that 8core HT, damn you!!!!!!!

What temps does your northbridge get? I have the same mobo and it runs warm, I had to get a antec spot cooler to fix it.

@Mezhona Then why say this “yeah because fans are gona help against thouse huge holes in the front
” ?? ..you’re now talking about your computer… why are we talking about your computer??, We’re in fact talking about the computer in this video.
You’e trying to confuse things , in future don’t make smart comments unless you think them through before hand

@moomar1 I know, I got dust filters on my fans, I got 2x 180mm blowing in with filters, and one alittle smaller pushing out hot air, without filters
May 21st, 2011
@Mezhona it pays to put dust filters anywhere there is air being drawn in.. the holes on the front might have air movng out so they’re not so important :OP

@moomar1 yeah because fans are gona help against thouse huge holes in the front

what no ssd you got to kinding me go get yourself a Corsair F40 SSD and use it as a boot drive then you will see performance gains accross the board.
May 21st, 2011
