If You Know Oracle, You Know DB2 9.7 Most computer science students learn Oracle, rather than DB2. But many large institutions (banks, insurance companies, credit card issuers, manufacturers, retailers) have established DB2 as their standard. You have an edge in the job market if you understand DB2 in addition to Oracle. Now, with the DB2 9.7 Oracle Compatibility features, if you know Oracle, you can use and program a DB2 database. You can also take advantage of the many outstanding, unique features of this newest DB2 release, including self- tuning memory, automatic storage, easy high availability, the best compression in the industry, pure XML storage, database changes without downtime, and lower costs, which is one big reason why those large institutions love DB2.

This is the newest member of my collection. A 1993 IBM Model M (Made by Lexmark) 1391401. The lighting and the camera angle are not great, but you can get a good idea of the sound the keys make. Compared to my Customizer 104, this one is heavier. It’s keys produce a “ping” whereas the Customizer keys produce a more “clacky” sound. The keys on the Model M seem to be lighter too, but that could be the result of having been used more.

It’s true that you don’t notice the change over time. My G80-3000 keys feel smoother and lighter now after I have used it for quite a while. I noticed the difference right away when I tried another new G80-3000.

True. I’ve had mine for about a year now I guess with very heavy use (lots of gaming and typing). Guess I didn’t notice the change over time.

How long have you had your Customizer? My Customizer was within it’s first week or so when I made that video. Maybe yours have been used more? Just wondering.

This sounds more like my Customizer 104 than your Customizer does. Weird.
