Today I explain what Intel Turbo Boost technology does for you, but mostly I’m just showing the cool little gadget that they’ve created which monitors how much your CPU is overclocking itself at any given time.

    u wasted money getting a 975 Xtreme… 970 with its 6 cores is so much cheaper and better

    @mobproctor the first program is Prime95 and the second one is Coretemp.

    Hello, here a way to boost Windows. So, open Task Manager, then Prosesses, remove all processes who’s not:
    SYSTEM,
    LOCAL SERVICES,
    NETWORK SERVICES.

    So remove all, but not:
    SYSTEM,
    LOCAL SERVICES,
    NETWORK SERVICES.
    Ok, then, go to Start, run and type msconfig. Go to Startup and uncheck all of that stuff… restart Windows. A message appear when you restarted Windows. Just click OK.

    @scatmanwfm No its not a software overclock , its just a gadget that show what happens to the CPU with turbo boost enabled

    @kozes yes , u can turn it off in bios
