@mazsenior
I wonder why i find myself replying again to a comment containing so much idiocy.
Nirvana was a 90s band. Are they no longer relevant?
Do you think Kurt Cobain was also an entertainer, originally wanted to become rich or famous? (just like anyone who moves to LA according to your logic)
Tool’s entire discography was 4 of the most influential albums of all time. Do you think their primary motive was money and fame?
You don’t have the slightest idea of what music really is.
March 29th, 2011
@WhereTheyAre Important bands of the ..wait for it..90′s!! No longer relevant TODAY. If he didn’t give an eff about being a celeb, why did he look for, and embrace the lifestyle? He moved to L.A. to become what? A nobody? And wine-makers are so 90′s, it isn’t funny. It’s 2011 dude, put the ganja down, and wrap your head around the fact that Maynard is an ENTERTAINER, taking your money, just like all entertainers do to become rich!

@mazsenior
Did you open Wikipedia on Maynard and pulled this ridiculous image of him out of your ass?
Tool is one of the most important bands in the 90s. They are as relevant as Radiohead or Pearl Jam.. Educate yourself. Especially Maynard, does not give two fucks about being a celebrity, and his actions prove that tendency. “He has a reputation for being reclusive, elliptical and controlling of his public image. He dislikes the manner in which rock stars are worshiped” From the Wiki you love.

@WhereTheyAre Maynard Keenan is a “Tool”. He was trying to become famous as an Interior Designer, when he tried “music” since he wasn’t making it in the design world. He wanted to be FAMOUS, just like Justin. Sorry dude. The guy does Stand Up Comedy, and makes Wine for crying out loud, because his music is no longer relevant enough to get him another Platinum Album. Geeze!

@mazsenior
No. This is pure misinformation.
The majority of people with a musical education respected Elvis 50 years ago, respected the Beatles, and even Ozzy, as they now respect Michael Jackson. Nobody had the same opinion on Metalica as Justin Bieber, and who the fuck gives a flying fuck about Britney?
Real musicians don’t hate other musicians? Go ask Maynard James Keenan his opinion on the majority of pop culture these days. He probably wants a tidal wave to wash them all away.
March 29th, 2011
@WhereTheyAre Ah..The little Green Monster! FYI: 50 years ago, people said the same thing of Elvis. 40 years ago, they said it about the Beatles. 30 years ago it was Ozzy. 20 years ago, it was Mettalica. 10 years ago it was Britteny. Now it’s Justin. Elvis and the Beatles are gone, the other’s are still HERE. Real musicians don’t hate on other musicians, only jealous people do.
